The Windsor
|
 |
1. Cross the end of tie"A" over the top
of "B", making sure that "A" is longer than "B". |
 |
2. Bring the end of "A" under "B", up through
the loop and back down again. |
 |
3. Bring "A" underneath "B" and to the left,
bringing it back through the loop. |
 |
4. Pull the end of "A" across the front
of "B", left to right. |
 |
5. Pull the end of "A" up through the loop
again. |
 |
6. Lead the end of "A" through the front
of the knot. |
 |
7. Place one hand on the knot while pulling
down on "A" until tie is drawn tight. |
The Half Windsor

 |
1. Cross the end of tie"A" over the top
of "B", making sure that "A" is longer than "B". |
 |
2. Wrap "A" around "B" once
|
 |
3. Pull the end of "A" up. |
 |
4. Bring "A" back down through the loop.
|
|
5. Bring "A" across the front of "B", left to right.
|
 |
6. Bring "A" back up through the loop.
|
 |
7.Lead the end of "A" through the front of the knot.
|
 |
8. Place one hand on the knot while pulling down on
"A" until tie is drawn tight.

The Four-In-Hand
|
 |
1. Cross the end of tie"A" over the top of "B", making
sure that "A" is longer than "B".

 |
2. Wrap "A" around "B" once
|
 |
3. Bring "A" over the top of "B" left to right.
|
 |
4. Pull "A" up through the loop between the tie and
the collar.
|
 |
5. Lead the end of "A" through the front of the knot.
|
 |
6. Place one hand on the knot while pulling down on
"A" until tie is drawn tight.

The Bow Tie
|
 |
1. Arrange the tie around your neck so the end of "A"
is longer than "B".
|
 |
2. Cross the end of "A" over the top of "B" from left
to right.
|
 |
3. Bring "A" around the back of "B" and up through
the loop.
|
 |
4. Fold the end of "B" over the front of itself forming
the front loop of the tie.
|
 |
5. Pull the end of "A" over the front of the newly
formed loop.
|
 |
6. Keeping everything in place, fold the
end of "A" back behind itself and push it through the loop
behind the tie.

 |
7. By pulling both ends of "A" and "B" simultaneously,
you tighten the bow while straightening the center knot.
